I wanted to make a bigger hero prop and focus on the texturing, I also wanted to keep it optimized, so I settled for a 2k texture for the whole object and mirrored and stacked uv islands as much as possible.
I used Blender for the initial blocking, Zbrush for the sculpting and Substance 3D Painter for the textures. It was rendered in Marmoset toolbag 4.
